University, Dr. Neumeyer is highly recognized in field children's literature and has authored
many books and magazine columns. Winner of the Anne Devereaux Jordan Award
in 2005 for lifetime achievement and the Dorothy C. McKenzie Award for
"Contributions to the field of Children's Literature", Neumeyer also contributes articles and
children's book reviews to "The Los Angeles Times", "Boston Globe" and "The New York

Peter Weiss, MD
