Communicating with babies before they can form words can be a frustrating experience for both your baby and you. It's not unlike a trip to a foreign country. What do you do when you try to communicate with a local, you sign. This video extends that and introduces that idea to babies. The DVD is engaging and fun to watch with great classical music. But as the scenes unfold babies are introduced to many signs that are based on American Sign Language. Within two viewings several of our testers reported that their children were actually signing, just like in the video. Now "I'm hungry", doesn't have to be crying or whining, but a simple hand gesture. It does sounds hard to believe but it really does work.
