If there is a hot button issue between parents and teenagers, one that never existed for previous generations, it's the prevalence of Instant Messaging. While teens think it's the coolest thing on the planet (after the iPod of course), parents, more often than not, find it to be the root of problems like lower grades, lack of communication (there's irony for you) etc. Along comes I.M. Control to give the upper hand back to parents. By placing time limits on length and when kids can "log on" to chat, this program cements the reality of who is in charge. You won't win any popularity contests, but this very effective tool will end the debate.
