Trying to recreate animals in a lifelike fashion is a very difficult task, especially if you are trying to pass off your creation to a demanding and perhaps even skeptical audience. Given the degree of difficulty we were pleasantly surprised to read the reviews from our testers who reported that their children were in fact quite taken with the Alive Lion Cub. They were impressed with the physical reproduction, mentioning the realism around the eyes and the sound effects. As for play value, the appeal was more short lived especially when you consider the $59 price tag, but for those parents with kids who love animals, especially lions, this will surely entertain and even amaze.
