This CD demonstrates that with the right twist classical music can be entertaining for any age. It clearly entertains Richard Perlmutter who wrote and performs many of the lead vocals with obvious delight. All the biggies are here from Beethoven to Mozart, along with Tchaikovsky, Liszt and Hayden. What Perlmutter does is write lyrics to help make the music more memorable, and then the music is reprised in its original lyric-less form on the 2nd half of the CD. Testers responded and parents thought it was a fun car ride CD.

Designed as a children's show for the ears, your children will discover loads of facts about all kinds of animals served up in very entertaining fashion. Using teachers, children and some unusual guests, the CD is a mix of lessons and quizzes designed to enlighten. Some of the facts are pretty obscure but that adds to the fun. The overall tone is upbeat and positive, just perfect for the car.
