Spirit:
Search for Homeland
(GBA)
THQ
The Oscar nominated movie makes the jump to the very small screen with results that excited and impressed our testers. Borrowing liberally from the gentle good nature of the film, players enjoyed the variety of games. A favorite was the nurturing of the horses, learning how to gain a horse's trust and loyalty in order to lead them home. Another was the thrilling races against other animals through mountainous terrain, it's all great fun. In order to succeed and progress the furthest you'll need sharp reflexes, a good memory, and a "way" with animals in order to gain the trust of the wild horses.
My
Street
Sony Computer
Entertainment America
My Street is a game that your child will love exploring for hours, especially if they are playing with a friend. According to our parent testers, the real appeal of My Street is the wealth of mini-games within the larger game. The concept offers a fun new twist. Your child/player, who you customize right down to the color of their shoes, moves into a new neighborhood where they go in search of friends. Along the way they meet and are introduced to new games. Grown-ups loved the handicapping feature that literally levels the playing field so that your more experienced kids don't beat you too severely.
