Dear Parents,
Spring is a time of hope and renewal and
perhaps never before have we needed spring than we do right now.
Every day we are bombarded with news of
unspeakable horrors from Virginia Tech to Iraq to Darfur and on and on.
Each of us must dig deep to find the goodness in each other, celebrate it
and hope that that goodness is what will pull us from these times.
I would like to take this opportunity
to urge you to think about how you and your children can spread a positive
message to others in the hopes that we all might bring a little spring to
those whose lives we touch.
