Rocket
Power: Gettin' Air
THQ
The
hit kids show Rocket Power features great characters, a good story line and a
solid message. It's no wonder that
both kids and their parents like it. When
it comes to video games, this Game Boy title imports a lot of the fun.
Extreme sports rule here as they do in the series, and with a little
practice you will be doing highflying tricks on your surfboard, your skateboard
and your bike. Accumulating points
and passwords along the way, this game is hard to put down.
Manual dexterity is the key if you really want to excel at this game, but
once you get the hang of it, you'll want to push the envelope.
All the Rocket Power characters wear the proper safety gear, which almost
every parent noted as being very important.

Coaster
Works
Xicat Interactive
When
it comes to game consoles, there are few titles that are so, dare we say,
esoteric as Coaster Works. Not a
game per se, the player is given the tools and the challenge to build a
world-class roller coaster. They
are given size and space constraints and an open 3D canvas upon which they can
let their imaginations run wild. Of
course the rules of physics and gravity are applied, with great realism by the
way, but they make for a greater challenge.
The final project can be viewed from a variety of angles and the screams
of your roller coaster customers are the rewarding result of a job well done.
