This direct to video release is a wonderful animated
adventure that is engaging, enthralling and exciting. The whole family will enjoy this biblical tale which is told
with sensitivity and care. The
music, the voice-over talent, the animation and the story are all superb and
provided our testers with a first rate family viewing experience. Parents told us how their children were transfixed by the
story from the opening scene. There
are some scenes that can upset very young viewers since they depict action with
considerable tension and even anger. As
a vehicle for appreciating the timeless appeal of the ancient story of Jacob and
his sons, this is a video you will be glad to have in your home.

Video Buddy is a low-tech toy that only appears to be a
high tech gizmo. With a simple
suction cup attachment to your regular television screen, your children can
interact with specially produced and encoded videos.
During the course of watching a video, a character (Video Buddy) appears
on the screen to ask questions about the story or the characters.
This is a great way to enhance listening and comprehension, since each
positive response elicits great words of encouragement.
There are several titles, some of which will appeal to your child more
than others. This system only works
with their own videos so you are at the mercy of the producers to obtain strong
character licenses and then to produce good titles.
The enhanced experience of making television a more interactive time
appealed to our testers and the ease with which they were up and running with
Video Buddy got high marks.

BabiesThe story and characters in this Video Buddy tape
entertained and amused children while impressing parents with its ability to
sustain interest through repeat viewings. The
quiz nature of the video buddy system is such that the questions are always the
same, but the story lines (in fact there are two stories on this tape) are
packed with enough fun to justify repeat play.
The upbeat interaction between the characters left viewers with a good
feeling.

Paddington Bear is a wonderful character, with delightful
sensibilities that are often outdone by his inquisitive nature.
This combination makes for a great companion in the Video Buddy system.
The video which features two stories and several opportunities to engage
the Video Buddy console to answer questions, really entertained our your
testers. Paddington is so likable
that, despite the fact that the questions repeat and children start to know the
answers by heart, they still enjoyed watching his exploits again and again.
