Jackie is the main character who is beset with a bevy of problems, not the least

That clumsiness does him a good turn in the end and he becomes the
unlikely hero. The book is
beautifully illustrated and the visuals compliment the story line.
Readers empathize with the hero and feel for him with each misstep, but
at the story's end there are smiles all around.
