Products for Babies

Lamaze Teach-Me Taxi
Learning Curve International

If you have a baby who loves to use their fingers and hands to manipulate objects, then the bright and colorful Teach-Me Taxi will appeal to both of you.  Loaded with all the dress up features you would want for learning, including our favorite, a really cute zipper mouth.  The taxi is well made and the quality and care put into its construction shows.  There are nice textures and lots of hands-on sound effects.  The Teach-Me Taxi is kind of like a dress up doll for both boys and girls.

Recommended Age:  1 and up                     Price: $24.99

Fun & Learn Phonics Bus
Leap Frog Toys

This bright yellow bus is loaded with touch points like letters and characters that respond with equally bright enthusiastic voices.  Identifying the letters and sounds of the alphabet are the key here and our little testers were eager to show off their skills in answering the questions.  Children are encouraged to identify letters by the onboard animal characters like Leap Frog and Darcy Duck who are positive, upbeat and always ready with a helpful clue.

Recommended Age:  12 mos. to 36 mos.                Price: $29.99

Tote & Tinker Activity Center
Sassy, Inc.

Do you have a baby on the go?  If so, this is a great play toy that really held up over long car rides, grueling stroller trips and even endless waits in the crib.  Featuring a handle for easy gripping there are four fun, eye-catching activities in all.  Cause and effect play are the cornerstone of the Tote & Tinker Activity Center, whether making sounds, pulling levers or of course teething on, this is a winner.

White Hot Bowls
Munchkin, Inc.

The first time you use a white hot bowl and see this dish alert you to the fact that the food is too hot for your baby's mouth, you'll wonder how you ever got along without it.  The superb concept, sweet heart-shaped design and excellent price won over everyone who tested it.  The white hot system alerts the user by turning both the bowl and spoon white when food is too hot.  With microwaves in just about every home this is a great back-up safety net.   Munchkin recommends that you hand wash these items to get the longest life possible from the product.  You will want these around for a long time as they are exceptional.

Recommended Age:  6 mos and Up             Price: $5.99

MAWS Heat Sensor Bottle
Mayborn USA, Inc.

This heat-sensing bottle, which alerts parents or caregivers to the temperature of the liquid you are preparing for your baby, is a superb product that parents will appreciate over and over.  The bright visual sensor draws attention to it so that babysitters, grandparents and other will see it easily.  We ran it through the dishwasher many times and saw no deterioration of the read out.  The wide mouth also made for easy hand washing as well.

Price: $6.99

White Hot Bath Ducky
Munchkin, Inc.

As parents we know we are always on the lookout for dangers that might harm our children.  But, some of the most frightening things can happen right under our noses and can be easily avoided.  The White Hot Bath Ducky is one item that parents told us they viewed as a great bath toy that worked double duty as a safety tool to back up their own good sense.  Sometimes, what feels like nice a warm bath to an adult can scald a baby's tender skin.  The Ducky indicates hot water with a bold "HOT" display if bath water rises above 103 degrees.  By the way, it's also a darn cute little duck!

Price: $2.99
