Building on the success of the original award winning video, Fox has produced a series of DVD's that your littlest ones will enjoy and ask for. Featuring all of the visuals that appeal most to this age group, such as animals, colorful animations and other children who are clearly having lots of fun. We watched as our testers were happy, smiling and quite animated themselves. There are plenty of songs and lots of follow along activities that encourage follow along play as opposed to passive viewing. There are even a few lessons here that parents found to be gentle and assuring.

Whether Clifford and his smaller sized pals are helping out a friend, learning a life lesson or just having fun together, kids always enjoy the time they spend with these upbeat characters.

Almost as soon as you hit the play button on your DVD you will understand the obvious talent and care that was put into the making of this children's offering. Hermie is an adorable character with many endearing qualities. The voice talents are wonderful and include Tim Conway and Don Knotts. There are lessons to be learned here and children are encouraged to view their individuality as a strength. They are taught to accept themselves for what they are by utilizing a rather heavy emphasis on the fact that God loves them. Given this angle the DVD is not for everyone, but for those who welcome a religious perspective when teaching values, Hermie is a great option.
